Why "The ZanyShire"?
The ZanyShire was born from a simple, recurring need: to trade spreadsheets for sketchbooks and swap data (I am a Research Analyst) for vibrant brushstrokes. For me, art began as appreciation. I started buying pieces I loved, until the urge to create took over entirely. Now, every wall in our home is a living gallery - a mix of found treasures and our own wild creations. In fact, every house I’ve ever owned has surrendered at least one wall to a giant mural.
The subjects may change, but the impulse remains: I am still creating, and continuing to paint on the walls. The ZanyShire is our home, where we surround ourselves with the things that bring us joy, but your Shire can be anywhere you want it to be. This space is our way of sharing what we love - welcome to our playground.
